Probably one of the main attractions in Lancaster County is the Amish. Lancaster is home to the oldest Amish settlement in the U.S. The Amish way of life and their culture separates them from the worldly influences of our modern society. The Amish are a gentle people who still survive and thrive in this fast-paced world in which we live.

For those of you who are interested in museums, there are a number found within an hour or less of the bed and breakfast.   Plan on an extra day and visit some of the historical, cultural, or educational sites in Hershey, Lancaster, Harrisburg, and Gettysburg and some of the smaller towns also close by.  Then use the following links.  Again, open each link in a new window.   Also change the order and put the Automobile first and the Gettysburg and Civil War Museum last.
